Terror, thy name is exam

I think one of the worst trends of this new digital world is the advent of the software engineer exam. It’s a constant moving target that typically has so little to do with the actual daily tasks that it’s almost universally despised by candidates and hiring committees alike. I personally despise the thing, and I don’t have a perfect solution for a replacement. But I do have some ideas.
